You can manage your subscription online by logging into Subscriber Services and selecting the easy to use menus. In a few clicks you can sign-up for EZ Pay, update your credit card information, place a vacation hold, change your password, manage your newsletters and more.

Subscription Terms And Conditions
You are enrolled in a continuous subscription at the listed rate, subject to future price increases. The subscription will automatically renew at the then-applicable rate unless you cancel it by calling 210-250-2000 or by managing your account at: ExpressNews.com/SubscriberServices. You will receive a communication prior to new charges if material terms of your subscription, including the rate, change.
You understand that you can cancel your subscription any time. Cancellation will become effective at the end of your current billing period; access to the Subscription Product will also end at the end of your current billing period. Refunds or credits are not provided for any cancelled Subscription Product; temporary suspension of your Print Subscription Product is available upon request.
You consent to receive communications, including bills, electronically via the email address you have provided. Print subscriptions may include up to ten premium days. Print subscribers will be charged up to $7.00 for each premium day in the billing period when the product publishes. All subscriptions will include a Thanksgiving Day premium edition. For this premium edition your account will be charged up to an additional $7.00. Any premium or bonus charge may result in a shortening of your subscription period. Prices are subject to change.
A $4.95 charge will be applied to each bill for processing costs. These charges may result in shortening the length of your billing period. To avoid this billing charge, you may enroll in recurring payment card billing (EZPay) by calling 210-250-2000 and authorize the San Antonio Express-News to automatically charge your provided payment method for your continuous subscription, which will automatically renew unless you cancel it by calling 210-250-2000 or by managing your account at: ExpressNews.com/SubscriberServices. Any outstanding balances will be processed with the first charge. Thereafter, you will automatically be charged for the next subscription term at the then-applicable rate which will include all applicable tax.

Billing Information
Q: What payment methods can I use?
A: Payments can be made with your credit card or check. This can be done online, by phone or mail in your payment with a billing statement. For your convenience, save time and money by enrolling in our EZPay program.
Q: What is the EZPay program? How does it save me time and money?
A:Our EZPay Continuous Service program is a convenient method of paying your subscription automatically. You provide your credit card information and we will automatically charge your card every month until you cancel, allowing you to enjoy many conveniences including no more envelopes, stamps or having to remember to mail your payment. If you choose to receive a printed bill, a $4.95 charge will be applied to each bill for processing costs.
Q: Why did the price change for my subscription?
A: Please call the subscriber services so that we may reference your account and discuss any changes with you. Please call (210) 250-2000. Business hours are from 7am–5:00pm, Monday through Friday, 7am–11:00am on Saturday and Sunday.
Q: Where can I update my EZPay payment information?
A: Simply go to Subscriber Services. Once you have logged in select the billing tab.
Q: How can I request a refund of the balance left on my previous subscription?
A: Option currently not available online. Please call the Subscriber Services at (210) 250-2000. Business hours are from 7am–5:00pm, Monday through Friday, 7:00am–11:00am on Saturday and Sunday.
Q: Where can I update my billing address?
A: Simply go to Subscriber Services. Once you have logged in select the billing tab or call Subscriber Services at (210) 250-2000 during business hours are from 7am–5pm, Monday through Friday, 7am–11am on Saturday and Sunday.
Q: How do I cancel my subscription?
A: You can cancel at anytime, by calling customer service at 210-250-2000 during business hours to review your subscription. Cancellation will become effective at the end of your billing period; refunds and credits will not be provided.
Home Delivery
Q: How can I report a missed/wet/damaged paper for today?
A: Once logged in to Subscriber Services, select the Delivery tab, then Delivery issue.
Q: How can I change the amount of days I receive my paper?
A: Once logged in to Subscriber Services, select the Billing tab, then Change Subscription. Also, you may call subscriber services during business hours at (210) 250-2000.
Q: Can I still get the San Antonio Express-News if I move out of the area?
A: Yes, there are 2 options to keep you in touch with our local news coverage. We offer a mail subscription where we can mail the newspaper to you or you may sign up for our Unlimited Digital Access.
• For mail delivery, please view our USPS (by mail) offers to subscribe.
• Unlimited Digital Access grants you 24/7 access to our premium website, ExpressNews.com, our mobile apps, and the e-Edition (digital version of the San Antonio Express-News, JBSA Legacy, Northside Herald, Southside Reporter, etc.)
Q: How do I change my delivery address?
A: Once logged in to Subscriber Services, select the delivery tab, then new delivery address.
Q: How do I change my billing address?
A: Once logged in to Subscriber Services, select the billing tab, then new billing address.
Q: When will my delivery begin?
A: By subscribing online, delivery will begin on the next scheduled delivery day, which is determined by your frequency.
Q: How do I stop delivery while on vacation?
A: Once logged in to Subscriber Services, select the delivery tab, then vacation hold. For vacations longer than 30 days, please call customer service.
Q: Can I tell the delivery person where to leave my paper?
A: Yes. Please call customer service.
Q: What is the premium day charge that appears on my bill?
A: A few times a year, the San Antonio Express-News is delivered with a book or magazine that includes exclusive content. For these days, your account will be charged an additional up to $7 in the billing period published. This may result in an adjustment to the length of your subscription. These dates in 2022/2023 are:

Q: How can I change my email address?
A: A total of 5 email addresses may be linked to your subscription. You may add family members by following the prompts on ExpressNews.com/Access. To change remove or change an existing email address, please contact subscriber services at (210) 250-2000.
Q: Why should I update my profile?
A:We strongly recommend updating your profile with any changes to avoid any problems accessing our digital products, to keep you informed with any new contests, additional content, news coverage and features.
Q: Can I choose what emails I receive from the San Antonio Express-News?
A: Yes. To manage your email preferences, please visit to ExpressNews.com/SubscriberServices, log in, then select newsletters on the footer of that page.
Q: When I tried to verify/activate my subscription, I got a message saying that they could not find it in the system. How can I look up my subscription?
A: Please contact Subscriber Services at (210) 250-2000. Business hours are from 7am–5pm, Monday through Friday, 7am–11am on Saturday and Sunday.
Q: How can I change my password?
A:
• For a known password, simply log into subscriber services and make an update.
• For an unknown password, simply click forgot password and enter the previously registered email address. An email will be sent to the email address you entered with a link to reset the password. Click the link in the email. Enter your new password (password is case sensitive, and must be at least 7 characters). Click submit. Once your password is changed or reset, your account is automatically updated. Please use your new password to log into ExpressNews.com, view the e-Edition and to manage your account online.
Unlimited Digital Access
Q: What are the benefits to Unlimited Digital Access?
A: Unlimited Digital Access includes unlimited access to ExpressNews.com, our mobile apps and e-Edition which provides the contents of the newspaper digitally but in a more traditional format, allowing you to flip through pages whether you’re in Houston or on vacation.
Q: I attempted to log into my account and received a message the system does not recognize my login information. What can I do?
A: Before gaining access to ExpressNews.com and the e-Edition, you will need follow a one-time process to activate your account. If you currently receive home delivery of the San Antonio Express-News, visit www.ExpressNews.com/Access to confirm your account meets the minimum access requirements. Follow the prompts to create your login (email address) and password.
Q: What are the advantages of linking my ExpressNews.com account to my social provider account?
A: By linking your ExpressNews.com account to your social provider account (e.g., Facebook, Google+, Twitter, etc.), you will have the ability to sign into your ExpressNews.com account using your social provider log in.This will allow you a more streamlined experience in sharing ExpressNews.com content via your social account.
Q: What browsers are supported for registration and sign-in?
A: MySA.com or ExpressNews.com sign in and registration is supported on all the latest versions of Chrome, FireFox, and Safari for PC and MacOS, Internet Explorer 10+ for PC, and iOS8 and Android devices.
Q: How do I activate my Unlimited Digital Access?
A: Please go to ExpressNews.com/Access, then simply follow the instructions to activate your account or upgrade your account to meet the minimum requirements for ExpressNews.com access.
Q: How do I access the e-Edition?
A: Once you log into ExpressNews.com, click the hamburger menu, the expandable menu with three line, then select e-Edition. Subscribers may select to receive a daily email for quick access to the daily e-Edition. The notification email is sent from email@mailer.expressnews.com. Please be sure to add this email address to your Safe Sender list to ensure delivery to your inbox every morning.
Q: What if I deleted the social media (Google+, Facebook, etc.) account that I used to make my Express-News account and now I cannot log into my Express-News account?
A: When you use Facebook or Google+ to create a new ExpressNews.net account, your new account is dependent on your Facebook or Google+ log in. If you want to enable your ExpressNews.com account login without Facebook or Google+, you need to contact Subscriber Services at (210) 250-2000 or email us for assistance.
Q: Can I choose what emails I receive from the San Antonio Express-News?
A: Yes. To manage your email preferences please go to ExpressNews.com/SubscriberServices, log in, select Newsletters on the footer of that page.
Mobile Apps
Q: What if I purchase the app through the iTunes store?
A: If you purchased an app through the iTunes store, your account will work on any device that is connected to your iTunes account with the proper receipt of purchase. If you purchase through iTunes, you will not be able to log on via an Android device. If you decide to cancel in the future, you will have to cancel via iTunes.
Q: What if I purchase the app through the Play Store?
A: If you purchased an app through the Play Store, your account will work on any device that is connected to your Play Store account with the proper receipt of purchase. If you purchase through the Play Store, you will not be able to log on via an iOS device. If you decide to cancel in the future, you will have to cancel via the Play Store.
Q: If I purchase a subscription through iTunes or the Play Store, will I receive access to the site or any other product?
A: If you’ve purchased an app subscription through the iTunes store or the Play Store, you will only be entitled to app access. You will not have access to the digital site or print products.
Q: What if I’m already a digital subscriber?
A: If you are already a digital subscriber, or plan to subscribe to the digital product, you will receive access to the mobile app. The credentials you create for the website, will be the same credentials that will grant you access to the app – simply sign in.
Q: What if I’m already a print subscriber?
A: If you are a print subscriber, or plan to subscribe to the print product, you will receive access to the mobile app. If you’ve already created a digital login, that login will allow you to access the mobile app. If you’ve never created a digital login, you can create an account from within the app via the ‘Link Print Subscription’ link. The username and login created will grant the user access to the app and digital.
Q: What if I am already a subscriber (iPad app) who never had digital credentials, how do I log into the new app when I update to the new version?
A: The only way for an existing iPad subscriber, who never had digital credentials, to access the new app, would be to ‘Restore Purchase’. Their unique iPad credentials will serve no purpose in the new version of the app. We hope to detect their receipt of purchase upon ‘upgrading’ the app – but as a fall back they user might have to ‘restore purchase.’
Q: My old app (iPad app) credentials use to work for my family members – now they don’t. Why?
A: When an existing iTunes subscriber with an iPad account, ‘Restores Purchase’ they will get access to the new app, but their old credentials serve no purpose now. Family members or friends who used the old credentials will no longer have access to the app via those credentials once the initial purchaser ‘Restores Purchase’. However, they could log into the original purchaser’s iTunes account on their respective device and click ‘Restore Receipts’.
Gifting/Sharing Articles
Q: How do I gift or share an article?
A: Look for the “Gift this article” button next to select articles on our website and click on it. You will have two options: emailing the article or copying the link. If you select email, a message that includes the article headline with the article link will be automatically generated.
Q: How long does the article link last?
A: The link remains active for 14 days.
Q: How often can I gift an article?
A: Your subscriber benefit entitles you to share up to 10 articles paywall-free every 30 days.
Q: What does the recipient need to do to access the article?
A: While the article is paywall-free (doesn’t require a subscription to read), if the recipient is new to our publication, we will ask them to please submit their email address to read the article.
Q: Can I gift or share an article in the e-Edition or app?
A: Currently, this exclusive benefit is only available on our website.

Q: What is the benefit of receiving newsletters?
A: For starters – they’re FREE! Our Express-News newsletters provide additional in-depth reporting on topics that are important to you. The newsletters build on the content provided in the Express-News and dig deeper to keep you well informed on what’s going on around you. We have several newsletters covering a variety of topics such as politics, the business sector, restaurants and recipes, sports, real estate and top stories of the day.
Q: How often would I receive the newsletters?
A: The newsletters we provide can vary. They are delivered to your email either daily or weekly depending on which ones you choose.
Q: How do I sign up to receive a newsletter?
A: You can opt-in to one or all of our newsletters at any time. Just visit ExpressNews.com/newsletters for a list of the newsletters we have available.
Q: Do I have to be a Express-News subscriber to receive a newsletter?
A: No. Our newsletters are available to everyone. Just visit ExpressNews.com/newsletters for a list of the newsletters we have available.

Submissions are subject to editing for accuracy, clarity and grammar. We refuse submissions that explicitly insult individuals rather than remark on their actions, opinions or policies. Please include a URL to confirm any facts or sources presented in your submission.

Letters to the editor:
Say it 150 words or less. Titles are not counted.
We receive far more letters than we have space to publish, so we prioritize submissions in response to recent articles, opinions and photos published in digital and print editions of the Express-News, as well as letters regarding urgent topics.
Guest op-eds:
Say it in 450-700 words. The Express-News publishes original column-length commentaries to reflect a variety of viewpoints and facilitate an open debate on issues important to the community.
